    The IAPMO Backflow Prevention Institute® is committed to providing education, training and awareness to potential hazards to our water supply and resources.

    IAPMO Backflow Prevention Institute® (BPI) provides a higher level of training for all those involved within the backflow prevention industry. It is currently the premier training provider in the cross-connection control industry.

    Our class offerings are continually expanded and updated, with training available nationwide and internationally through both open enrollment and private classes. We provide third-party certified training in backflow testing and repair, cross-connection control surveying, program administration, and fire sprinkler system backflow testing, and are a recognized provider of continuing education credits in many states and jurisdictions. With highly qualified instructors, industry-leading materials, and flexible scheduling, we deliver the training and certification professionals need—anytime and anywhere.
